The Naked Ape by Martin Cate

This is one of my favorite recipe (re)discoveries. It is my go to, my fortress, and my deliverer of delicious Tiki taste - Jamaican Rum, banana, and cinnamon. Link to the original recipe is below.

1 1/2  ounce Coruba rum

1/2  ounce Smith and Cross rum

1/2 ounce banana liqueur- I prefer Giffard Banane du Bresil. I dial the Banane down just a little to keep the sweetness down.

1/2 ounce cinnamon syrup - make your own. I prefer a strong cinnamon flavor.

3/4  ounce lemon juice - I up the lemon from 1/2 ounce to keep the acid up. Thank you for the tree in the backyard

Bitters - Ango x1

Garnish - Mint with a slap is key. Add additional joy to taste.
